Grass Valley, CA: Today, Fieldmouse Press announces that it has created a Patreon so that its supporters will have a stronger connection to the work of the organization.

In January 2020, Fieldmouse Press launched a brand new online literary journal for comics called SOLRAD, publishing excellent reviews and interviews, previews and extracts from recently released comics, and has given a digital home for a number of cartoonists through its SOLRAD Presents imprint.

Throughout all of this, Fieldmouse Press has prided itself on fairly compensating its contributors while being completely transparent with both its finances and contracts. It continues to promote diversity and fairness in the comics community through education and outreach.

While Fieldmouse Press continues to actively seek sources of funding through various arts organizations and grants, one of its major pillars is community building. To that end, the leadership of Fieldmouse Press has created another avenue of support and connection through the launching of their new Patreon Page.

“Fieldmouse Press is built around community input and SOLRAD, especially, has been a voice for that. We felt that by giving our community the opportunity to get something tangible, such as recognition on our site, an opportunity to be on our podcast, or the chance to underwrite a specific review as a reward for their support only made sense,” states Fieldmouse Press’ President Daniel Elkin. “We hope that people see that becoming a patron of Fieldmouse Press means that they are expanding their own relationships within the community of comics.”

About Fieldmouse Press:
